Properly draining your TAG's fresh water tank is an essential part of trailer maintenance. Follow these guidelines based on your model year to ensure efficient drainage.
Pre-2019 Models
- The black "T" handle located under the sink serves as the fresh water tank drain valve. Pulling this handle will release the water from the tank.
- Some water may remain in the tank even after draining. To remove as much as possible, raise the front of the trailer to tilt it backward, allowing the remaining water to flow toward the drain outlet.
- For best results, elevate the tongue of the trailer as high as possible, then pull the black drain valve open and let the water drain completely.
2019–Present Models
- Locate the drain valve behind the driver-side wheel. It is connected to a blue pipe underneath the trailer.
- To drain the fresh water tank, simply open this valve and allow the water to flow out.
Regularly draining your fresh water tank helps maintain your system and prevents water from sitting stagnant in your tank. If you have any further questions, contact help@nucamprv.com or visit your nearest nuCamp dealer for assistance.
