If you need to adjust the fan settings on your Air 8 A/C panel in a nuCamp TAB 320 or TAB 400, follow this step-by-step guide to program the unit.
Understanding Fan Modes
By default, the fan and compressor operate together, meaning the fan turns on when the compressor starts and shuts off when the compressor stops. However, if you prefer the fan to run continuously (on low, medium, or high) regardless of the compressor cycle, you’ll need to program the panel accordingly.
Programming the A/C Panel
Follow these steps to adjust the settings:
- Press and hold the double-arrow (▲) button and the fan button simultaneously for about three seconds.
- Four numbers will start blinking on the display.
- Change the numbers in sequence by using the plus (+) button and confirming each entry with the double-arrow (▲) button:
- First number: Set to 8, then press ▲.
- Second number: Set to 6, then press ▲.
- Third number: Set to 9, then press ▲.
- Fourth number: Set to 9, then press ▲.
- Once the final number is set to 9, press the power button to continue.
- Press the double-arrow (▲) button four times.
- Press the plus (+) button until the display shows 2 and 10.
- Press the power button to save the settings.
Final Result
After completing these steps, the fan will now operate independently from the compressor, allowing it to run continuously if set to low, medium, or high.
