This article applies to TAB 320 models equipped with the Nautilus P3, which includes 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Introduction

Dewinterizing your nuCamp TAB 320 involves draining antifreeze, sanitizing the plumbing system, and flushing it with fresh water.

1. Drain the Antifreeze

  • Open the gray tank to drain out its contents, then close it.
  • Open the hot and cold drain valves to drain any remaining antifreeze.

2. Prepare a Sanitizing Solution

  • Mix your sanitizing solution based on your preference.
  • A stronger solution can be immediately rushed, while a weaker solution will need to sit to sanitize effectively.
  • Recommended: 1/4 cup per 15 gallons. Let rest for 12 hours.
  • The video suggests 1/2 cup of bleach per gallon of water in a bucket. This can be immediately flushed.
  • Connect one end of a hose to the city water inlet and place the opposite end into the sanitizing solution.
  • A shorter hose is more efficient for this step.

3. Siphon the Sanitizing Solution

  • Turn the Nautilus panel knobs to the Sanitize position using the key on the sticker.
  • Turn on the water pump to begin siphoning the sanitizing solution.
  • Once the freshwater tank is full, turn off the water pump.
  • Use the key on the sticker to switch to Dry Camp mode.

4. Flush the Antifreeze from Faucets and Fixtures

  • Inside the camper, turn on the water pump.
  • Run water through all faucets until the pink antifreeze is gone.
  • Connect and run the external shower hose to remove any antifreeze residue.

5. Empty the Fresh Water Tank

  • Open the freshwater drain valve and let the contents drain completely.
  • Close the valve when done.

6. Refill the Freshwater Tank

  • Set the Nautilus panel to Power Fill mode.
  • Connect a garden hose to the city water connection.
  • Use an inline water pressure regulator to prevent over-pressurization.
  • Monitor the water level to avoid overfilling.
  • Once full, switch the Nautilus panel to Dry Camping mode.

7. Flush the System with Fresh Water

  • Run fresh water through all faucets and fixtures to remove any remaining sanitizing solution.
  • Turn off the water pump once finished.
