This article applies to TAB 320 models with the Nautilus P2.5, which includes 2021 and 2022.
Step 1: Prepare the System for Draining
- Set the Nautilus panel to Tank Fill using the key on the sticker.
- Open the hot and cold low-point drain valves to let any liquid drain out.
- Drain the gray tank to remove excess water.
- Locate the freshwater tank drain on the passenger side behind the wheel well and drain it.
- Inside the camper, lift the dinette seat to find the water heater drain, then open it and let it drain completely.
Step 2: Close the Drains
Once everything is drained, close the following:
- Water heater drain
- Freshwater tank drain
- Gray tank drain
- Low-point drain valves (hot and cold lines)
Step 3: Blow Out the Lines
Materials Needed:
- Air compressor
- Pressure gauge
- RV blowout adapter (for city water inlet)
Steps:
- Set each Nautilus panel knob to a 45-degree angle.
- Remove the screen from the city water inlet.
- Attach an air compressor to the Nautilus panel.
- Blow out each line one by one using 40 PSI, then close it back up.
- Repeat this process for:
- Hot and cold low-point drains
- Freshwater tank
- Gray tank
- Replace the screen once you're done blowing out all the lines.
Step 4: Add Antifreeze
- Turn the Nautilus panel knobs to Winterize position using the key on the sticker.
- Turn the red bypass valve to the bypass position (should be vertical).
- Connect a garden hose to the Winterize port.
- Place the other end of the hose into a jug or bucket of antifreeze.
- Turn on the water pump to begin siphoning antifreeze into the system (pump will stop once the lines are pressurized).
- Open all faucets and fixtures inside the camper (hot and cold) until the water runs pink.
- Outside the camper, run antifreeze through the external shower by turning on both the hot and cold taps.
- Pour antifreeze down the shower drain to protect the trap.
- Add antifreeze to the toilet to protect the shutter valve.
Your camper is now winterized!
