The Nautilus P2.5 system is used in 2021 and 2022 TAB CS-S and S models to simplify water management by centralizing all functions in one panel. Below is an overview of its components, functions, and modes. The Barefoot (2023-2025) also uses the Nautilus P2.5.
Step 1: Understanding the Nautilus Panel Components
The front panel of the Nautilus system contains the following key components:
- Sanitize & Winterize Inlet – Used to pull fluid from a container or bucket into the freshwater tank.
- City Water Inlet – Connects to city water either at a campground or home.
- Mode Selection Knobs – Adjusts the system’s settings for different functions.
- Water Pump Switch – Turns on the water pump, identical to the interior pump switch.
- Coax Connection for Interior TV – The only active port is labeled “Cable”; the other two are unused.
Step 2: Nautilus Panel Modes
1. Sanitize Mode
- Use this mode when sanitizing or de-winterizing your camper.
- Connect a container with a bleach solution to the Sanitize & Winterize inlet.
- Turn on the water pump to start siphoning the fluid into the freshwater tank.
2. Tank Fill Mode
- Used to fill the freshwater tank from a city water source.
- Connect the city water hose to the City Water Inlet.
- Do not turn on the pump—this mode relies on city water pressure.
- Always use an inline water pressure regulator (included in the welcome pack).
3. Dry Camp Mode
- Use this mode when camping without a city water connection.
- Pulls water from the freshwater tank and sends it to faucets and fixtures.
- Turn on the water pump to supply water to your system.
4. Winterize Mode
- Used only during the winterization process to run antifreeze through the system.
- Connect a jug of RV antifreeze to the Sanitize & Winterize Inlet.
- Refer to the Nautilus manual for full winterization instructions.
5. City Water Mode
- Used when connected to a city water source for direct water supply.
- The knobs are in the same position as Winterize Mode, but water is supplied via the City Water Inlet.
- Water flows directly to faucets and fixtures without using the pump.
Note: The hot water heater bypass valve is located in the same compartment as the Nautilus panel.
