What is a Converter?
- Function: Converts 120V AC shore power down to 12V DC to power your 12V appliances in the camper.
- Where It's Found:
- The WFCO Power Center contains a built-in converter in most nuCamp campers.
- This Power Center also serves as a power distribution panel, containing both AC breakers and DC fuses.
What is an Inverter?
- Function: Converts 12V DC from the battery into 120V AC to power one or two outlets inside the camper.
- Which Units Have an Inverter?
- The Cirrus 820 and TAB 400 currently come with an inverter.
- Not all nuCamp units include an inverter—check your specific model.
What is the Victron MultiPlus (for Lithium Packages)?
- Function: The Victron MultiPlus is an inverter/charger that combines both conversion and inversion functions.
- What It Does:
- Supplies 120V AC and 12V DC to the entire camper.
- Allows you to run all appliances, even off-grid.
- Which Units Have It?
- If you have the Lithium Package, your camper will include the Victron MultiPlus instead of a separate inverter and converter.
