How to Locate and Clean Your Camper’s Sediment Filters
Your camper is equipped with at least two sediment filters to help keep debris out of your water system. The exact locations of these filters may vary depending on your camper model, but they will always be found at the following points.
- At the Nautilus Panel: One sediment filter is located inside the city water inlet of the Nautilus System. You can remove this filter by gently popping it out with your finger.
- At the Water Pump: Another sediment filter is located at the water pump inlet.
How to Clean the Sediment Filters:
- Remove the Filter: Once you have located the sediment filter, carefully remove it.
- Clean the Filter: Use a small brush to remove any debris, gunk, or buildup from the filter.
- Reinstall the Filter: After cleaning, securely place the filter back into its original position.
Regularly inspecting and cleaning your sediment filters will help maintain your water system and ensure optimal performance. If you notice persistent blockages or issues, consider replacing the filters for best results.
