If you see water leaking from underside of your new camper - do not panic, follow these steps:
Turn off the water source. This will typically be your water pump or the city water faucet.
Check that all the exterior drains are properly closed. There are usually 3 drains:
1. Hot water low point drain
2. Cold water low point drain
3. Fresh Tank Drain
In the recent teardrops, these will typically be below the Nautilus panel, under the camper coming through the chassis frame:
In the trucker campers, these will typically be at the bottom of the nautilus panel or in one of the exterior compartments.
Ensure that you are using an inline water pressure regulator if connected to city water.
If the water pressure on the city water connection is too high, it will cause the Alde's over-pressure relief valve to open and dump water.
There will be an inline water pressure regulator in your nuCamp Welcome Bag:
After checking all of the above, if the camper is still letting out water from below the camper, check that the Alde's yellow safety drain hasn't been left open. It's normal to open this valve when draining the hot water tank and it is commonly left open by the factory, dealers, & owners, who forget about it until they hook up to water again.
In the TAB 320, TAB 360, & TAB 400 this safety drain will be under the bed.
In the Cirrus 620 it will be under the sink.
In the Cirrus 820 & 920 it's located under the dinette.
(The TAG & TAB 320 lite do not have an Alde and therefore will not have an Alde safety drain)
Every camper that comes equipped with the Alde will have at least one of these yellow valves. Campers that have the auxiliary Alde Flow tank will have two of these yellow valves.
These will always be located right next to the Alde, near the floor:
Ensure that the yellow safety drain is in the closed position. (both yellow valves if your camper has two)
If the yellow valve is in the closed position, but still leaking, try opening and closing the valve a few times to help reseat the seals.
If the valve continues to leak whether you're on water pump or city water with an inline regulator, then it's possible that the Alde safety drain has failed and needs replaced.
