Regular maintenance of your Air 8 air conditioner filter helps ensure optimal performance. Follow these steps to clean the filter properly.

Locating the Air Conditioner — The air conditioner is positioned beneath the rear bench on the passenger side of your camper.

Removing the Filter

  1. Unplug the Air 8 – For easier access, unplug the unit and move the cord to the side.
  2.  Remove the Pre-Filter – Start by taking out the pre-filter.
  3. Remove the Main Filter – After the pre-filter is removed, carefully take out the main filter.

Cleaning the Filters — The filters are delicate, so handle them with care. Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner to gently remove any dust and debris.

Reinstalling the Filters

  1. Check the Orientation – The top of the filter has text indicating the correct way to insert it.
  2. Reinsert the Main Filter – Place it back into position.
  3. Reinstall the Pre-Filter – Ensure the grill is facing away from the air conditioner.

Final Steps — Plug the air conditioner back in to restore power and functionality.
