Locating the Filter 

The filter for the Cool Cat air conditioner is situated under the dinette on the driver’s side. A hinged lid provides easy access to the filter. 

Checking the Filter 

To inspect the filter, simply slide it out. If you notice dust or debris buildup, it may require cleaning or replacement. 

Cleaning or Replacing the Filter 

1. Gently pull out the foam filter and the mesh plastic piece from the grill. 
2. Use a damp cloth to carefully wipe away any dust or debris. 
3. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it. 
4. When reinstalling, ensure the mesh side faces the grill and the grill faces the sidewall.

Maintenance Schedule

For optimal air conditioner performance, check the filter at least once a year at the start of each camping season. Regular maintenance helps keep the unit running efficiently and extends its lifespan.
