This article applies to any TAB 320 model equipped with the Nautilus P3.
Guide to Winterizing a TAB 320
Step 1: Prepare the System for Draining
- Set the Nautilus panel to Power Fill using the key on the sticker.
- Open the hot and cold low-point drain valves to let any liquid drain out.
- Drain the gray tank to remove excess water.
- Locate the fresh water tank drain on the passenger side of the wheel well and drain it.
- Inside the camper, lift the dinette seat to find the water heater drain, then open it and let it drain completely.
Step 2: Close the Drains
- Once everything is drained, close the:
- Water heater drain
- Freshwater tank drain
- Gray tank drain
- Low-point drain valves (hot and cold lines)
Step 3: Blow Out the Lines
Materials Needed:
- Air compressor
- Pressure gauge
- RV blowout adapter (garden hose to air hose)
- Short leader hose
Steps:
- Set each Nautilus panel knob to a 45-degree angle.
- Connect your garden hose to the air compressor.
- Set the air pressure to 40 PSI.
- Open one low-point drain valve and allow compressed air to push out excess water.
- Close the drain valve and repeat with the other low-point drain valve.
- Inside the camper, blow out the water heater drain using the same process.
- Once finished, disconnect the garden hose from the air compressor.
Step 4: Add Antifreeze
- Set the Nautilus panel to Winterize mode.
- Insert the leader hose into the antifreeze jug or bucket.
- Turn on the water pump to start the siphoning process (it will stop when the lines are pressurized).
- Open each faucet and fixture inside the camper (hot and cold) until the water runs pink.
- Open the bathroom faucet and run both hot and cold until pink.
- Connect the external shower hose and turn on the hot and cold taps until pink.
- Pour antifreeze down the shower drain to protect the trap.
- Add antifreeze to the toilet to protect the shutter valve.

1. Drain the Antifreeze
- Open the gray tank to drain out its contents, then close it.
- Open the hot and cold drain valves to drain any remaining antifreeze.
2. Prepare a Sanitizing Solution
- Mix your sanitizing solution based on your preference.
- A stronger solution can be immediately rushed, while a weaker solution will need to sit to sanitize effectively.
- Recommended: 1/4 cup per 15 gallons. Let rest for 12 hours.
- The video suggests 1/2 cup of bleach per gallon of water in a bucket. This can be immediately flushed.
- Connect one end of a hose to the city water inlet and place the opposite end into the sanitizing solution.
- A shorter hose is more efficient for this step.
3. Siphon the Sanitizing Solution
- Turn the Nautilus panel knobs to the Sanitize position using the key on the sticker.
- Turn on the water pump to begin siphoning the sanitizing solution.
- Once the freshwater tank is full, turn off the water pump.
- Use the key on the sticker to switch to Dry Camp mode.
4. Flush the Antifreeze from Faucets and Fixtures
- Inside the camper, turn on the water pump.
- Run water through all faucets until the pink antifreeze is gone.
- Connect and run the external shower hose to remove any antifreeze residue.
5. Empty the Fresh Water Tank
- Open the freshwater drain valve and let the contents drain completely.
- Close the valve when done.
6. Refill the Freshwater Tank
- Set the Nautilus panel to Power Fill mode.
- Connect a garden hose to the city water connection.
- Use an inline water pressure regulator to prevent over-pressurization.
- Monitor the water level to avoid overfilling.
- Once full, switch the Nautilus panel to Dry Camping mode.
7. Flush the System with Fresh Water
- Run fresh water through all faucets and fixtures to remove any remaining sanitizing solution.
- Turn off the water pump once finished.
